The Boston Globe has just published this article about our petition calling on Newton city leaders to make outdoor dining in Newton permanent. 

And we’re thrilled to report that Mayor Ruthanne Fuller told the Globe she supports our goals.

“I am 100% supportive of outdoor dining and we’re taking every step locally to make sure we can continue it into the future. Outdoor dining has been wonderful for restaurants, village centers, and diners,” Fuller said.

Thanks to the now, nearly 1,700 people who have spoken up in support of outdoor dining in Newton.
