Now that it finally feels like fall, it’s getting a little harder to think about outdoor dining.

But fall is precisely the time when our independent restaurant owners are thinking about the outdoor season as they begin to line up vendors who can provide the furniture, lighting and decking they’ll need this spring.

With labor shortages, you can bet they’ll be scouring for more staffing in the weeks to come too. And they'll likely be using the coming winter to plan and test new spring menu items too!

Just one week into this effort, we’ve collected 1500 signatures in support of making outdoor dining permanent in Newton. 

Please showing the folks at City Hall that outdoor dining matters to you by helping us get to 2,000 signatures in the next 48 hours.
