The Issue

Back in January 2021 during the deep stages of the COVID -19 pandemic, a television show aired on the Syfy Channel that allowed so many of us to sit down and forget about the stress of the world around us. That show was Resident Alien. We found it funny, entertaining, and captivating with a fantastic cast of actors, writers, and crew.

It brought us all to a little home away from home that we didn't know we needed. It brought us to Patience, Colorado.

This petition is just to show appreciation by fans to those that work on the show both in front of and behind the camera. From the Showrunner, to the actors, writers, sound, lighting, extras and all the way to catering and more, you all come together to make a show that is a oasis in a world of crazy.
This petition is also being made to show the Syfy channel, UCP, and Amblin Entertainment, that the fans love the show and want more Resident Alien for years to come.

While there is no  definite sign of the show leaving the airwaves anytime soon, people often create petitions after a show's cancellation in an attempt to save it, but rarely do you see a simple petition just expressing the love and want of more seasons by fans before that takes place. That is also what this petition is for. The first season ratings were fantastic, but sadly the second season of the show had a bit of a lower amount. The show was split into two segments of episodes for Season 2 and a lot of fans thought that the first half of Season 2 was all there was and that the second half was Season 3. The gap caused confusion among some and may have possibly lead to the ratings drop.

We want the networks and executives to know that the audience for this show is still alive, and still wanting more. As we wait for Season 3 we hope for Season 4 and more.

Please recognize this show for the diamond it is and let it shine for seasons to come.
