Show CASA DEL REY, Grantsville Utah We Love Them!
The Issue
It's been over 15 years since I have had my first meal at Casa Del Rey in Grantsville Utah. I had the chimichanga with cheese: Grande' Style. It was amazing, and for a Mexican restaurant like this to be here in a little town called Grantsville, it is considered a real treat.
Each time I went the owner would personally greet me and my family. He was a staff member; but more importantly a father to a family of customers.
When I found out that Casa Del Rey was closing, I decided that a petition was needed to stop this change. Casa Dey Rey has been a great landmark for many, with so many memories for each brother and sister that walked into the doors.
From Birthdays, Anniversaries, Dates, Prom Nights, or just a place to sit down and have a great meal, this amazing restaurant needs to be saved. The "not to be named" restaurant is already located 20min away from where they want to build another one. If we want it, then we will drive; but this...this cherished restaurant needs to stay.
If you take away Casa Del Rey, then you take the heart out of Grantsville.
