David Nutter's 1998 film DISTURBING BEHAVIOR was a victim of studio-meddling, especially in the theatrical edit. The theatrical cut of the film is approximately 84 minutes long while Nutter's cut of the film is approximately 115 minutes long. Over the years the film has received a cult following and some fans have put together a cut of the film which is approximately 104 minutes long.

Over twenty-two years later the film still holds up and has gained a dedicated fan base. This film would greatly benefit from a remastered Director's cut blu-ray release. I could see a Collecter's Blu-ray company taking on this project. Scream/Shout Factory has already released the theatrical cut of the film on Blu-ray so I think it's a realistic goal, to ask them to remaster Nutter's original vision.
