A white couple shopping in the shoprite in Somerville,NJ called a Black customer the “n” word and various other racial slurs. The couple was not asked to leave the store and were able to continue shopping. This occurred on 6/16 at 11 am. To date, Shoprite in Somerville has not responded As what they will be doing to address this act of Racism. We want a zero tolerance policy for Racism! Customers should not be able to shop in the store or any shoprite store if they will be racist towards other customers!
