From the onset several thousand people, aka The Veterans, gave their all to provide world class customer service and propel a start-up company called SHIPT into a Billion dollar enterprise that attracted Target, a leading global retailer.

After purchasing SHIPT for hundreds of millions of dollars Target launched an ad campaign that utilized videos and images of these very same Veterans going above and beyond by climbing into lobster tanks and crawling into freezers to achieve Customer Service. Actions that in many cases were not far from the truth.

The veteran shoppers of SHIPT now feel that with the implementation of the new pay structure called V2 that all of their hard work and determination that was the very foundation of what set SHIPT apart from the competition has been overlooked and unappreciated. Veterans shoppers across the board have seen their pay dip dramatically with the implementation of this new pay structure.

SHIPT Veterans ask that an agreement be negotiated wherein veterans would be exempt from this new pay structure and be returned to their original pay structure of 7.5% of the total receipt along with $5 and tips.

SHIPT Veterans ask Target to step up and set a precedent for Independent Contractors everywhere and institute a system that rewards seniority, loyalty, hard work and Team Spirit.
