As most people across the nation know by now - June 19th, 2016 marked the day that Cleveland, OH broke the championship drought and brought home the first ever NBA Larry O'Brien trophy to the city and fans who so desperately wanted it.

We can thank, in large part, LeBron James for that who led the path to victory. Sherwin Williams also felt the same way on October 30, 2014 when they hung a 10-story, 25,000 square foot, 1.3 ton mural display of him on the side of their corporate building in downtown Cleveland, OH. They welcomed him home with open arms and very publicly showed their support for him and what the city of Cleveland stood for. 

Sherwin Williams has taken to Twitter to publicly congratulate the Cleveland Cavaliers in their NBA finals victory and shared in the joy of the first ever championship but soon, that same mural they so proudly displayed will be taken down starting June 20, 2016 for the Republican National Convention. 

They want to take down the one person who has stood up for the tight-knit city and represented Cleveland in such a grand manner. LeBron James represents such a soulful part of the city and without him - the Cleveland Cavaliers definitely would not be where they are today. 

That iconic banner represents more. It represents hope, a bright future, and memories. The city of Cleveland will always be "All In" as this city knows more heartbreak than any other. Let Sherwin WIlliams know that the city of Cleveland does not need a banner representing the Republican National Convention. The city of Cleveland needs a constant reminder of the person who has been "All In". A nod to the one championship the Cleveland Cavaliers earned together and brought home. A reminder that the city of Cleveland will ALWAYS stand united through thick and thin. A reminder that this is the land of believing.
