Marine Scotland Compliance seeks to Dismiss DeeAnn Fitzpatrick.  A whistleblower, a woman who stood up to a team of strong men when she would not bow down and lie for them and stand with the boys as she was told.  The investigation that just concluded with a statement released before even notifying DeeAnn and her union is false.  The people that bound and gagged DeeAnn are not held accountable.  The men that abused her for 10 years not held accountable.  The complaint lodged by DeeAnn that kicked off the investigation and it's findings is being withheld from DeeAnn and the union.  The Scottish Government have refused to give them sight of the information but the guilty party has had copies of all the details.  The same perpetrator who pulled a rabbit out of a hat and found someone to say, I saw that picture and it was all a joke when this same person ran to the aid of a senior officer and officer when he attempted to punch a fishery assistant in the head and share their woes.  This person seems to be their magic wand.  The damage that this incident and many more incidents has had a profound effect on DeeAnn's health and still to this day Marine Scotland Compliance allows those involved to remain in post and seek ways and means to dismiss DeeAnn.  This is a huge miscarriage of justice and one massive coverup. Staff have been encouraged to speak out but what they have done to DeeAnn is a clear example of what will happen to you if you do.  A woman who never had a bad report given to her in her entire career until one of the senior men became her line manager and slated her to point that he called her a borderline underachiever and borderline manic.  The same manager who pursued other members of staff only because they did not agree or spoke out.  The same member of staff who in past set another senior officer up and falsely accused him of falsifying overtime records and then having him dismissed.  This is a prime example of how far they will go to get rid of someone that they don't see eye to eye with.  He also tried to discipline DeeAnn over record claims that did not even belong to her.  He intimidated her so much and put her in such a state of fear that she admitted to owning the records when there was another male officer' name on the records.  This senior manager keeps his job.  An officer who attempts to punch a woman in the back of the head, found guilty, he keeps his job.  If you read Kevin Kelly's posting below, you will learn of other officers that were well known for what they done and they keep their job.   The same person that bound and gagged DeeAnn is named in Kevin Kelly's posting as passing confidential information to fishermen was found guilty of this and kept his job.  He was right when laughed in DeeAnn's face and tapped his wrist and said, I won't even as much as get this, fuc8you.  DeeAnn cried and reported this to her senior manager who told her to get on with it while he was oozing of the smell of booze and only because he was so traumatised by bullying himself by another senior officer internally that was the only way he could turn up to work to get by and totally out of character for him.  He is another example what bullying can do to a man who was once considered the best senior officer, a gentleman all round and feared by fishermen. The Scottish Government allowed the damage to be done and then have decided to throw DeeAnn to the curb when she fought long and hard to have change and a decent place to work.  She is instrumental to getting Marine Scotland where it is going to be by what Leslie Evans wrote in her statement.

I am disgusted and furious at this statement on the outcome of this so- called investigation. "A broad set of actions are underway in Marine Scotland etc..." Do these actions include, not only letting the perpetrators of this incident move on in their careers, but also promoting them as well?, because this is exactly what has happened. The person who threw the punch at the female member of staff was sacked, then reinstated, then allowed a move, at tax payers expense, so that he and his wife had a better and more convenient life. One of those responsible for the chair incident, who also passed confidential information to fishermen about Fishery Protection Vessel positions and who also ran a small business from the office using SG materials and postage, has been promoted! Are these some of the robust actions Ms Evans is talking about? Its a complete joke!! DeeAnn knows it, I know it, and more importantly senior management know it and I'm sure are high- fiving each other as we speak. This is a common form of celebration when their various devious plans have been successful. Yes sickening and childish. I know this statement has upset DeeAnn and her family greatly and I'm sure they would agree that it's more to do with the wording of it as the findings were always going to be as HR and senior management wanted it to be. There was nothing independent in this investigation. I know for a fact that I and other past and present members of staff have made statements to the investigators and personally I would stand up in court, under oath, and repeat what I have told them, but we have all, including DeeAnn, been roundly ignored. It would seem that not only can senior management bully staff and get away with it, they can also bully HR and high ranking government officials and also get away with it.

All I can say is, Ms Evans, they have well and truly pulled the wool over your eyes. I would have thought with the resources at your disposal, you could have come up with something better than this crock of ....
The word corruption springs to mind I'm sorry to say. There is no other explanation!
