Shelter Island's STR law was submitted to Albany incorrectly with six material changes from the copies distributed to the public - in clear violation of Section 13-1, NYS Public Hearings Law. In other words - the public has the right inspect the laws that will be imposed upon them. The government cannot make changes as they wish when submitting a law for processing without letting the public view these changes.
