Ellison Memorial Funeral Home owns Shelby Memory Gardens. Many of us, in Calera, have family members buried there. It has been an ongoing issue with arrangements being stolen in the past. However, recently, vases have been stolen as well as well as graves being damaged. Family members who have contacted the management state that they do not seem very concerned nor willing to help combat this issue. Placing flowers for our loved ones is the one of the ways we have to still love and honor those who are no longer with us. At the very least, security cameras should be placed to help catch who is doing this.  Please sign the petition to be taken to the owners to have something done and make them pay attention to their customers!
