It's part of a pattern of Palestinians forcibly removed from their homes.

These violations of international law must be condemned and reversed

In 2010 I visited Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood in East Jerusalem & met a family who are being thrown out of their home by a govt-backed plan allowing settlers to take over other peoples’ houses. That this is happening in 2021 is chilling.

I never heard of a real estate -israel- dispute that includes people just walking into other people’s houses and saying, “I live here now.”

Right now in Sheikh Jarrah: settlers are walking around armed while no Palestinians are allowed in. LOOK AND LOOK AGAIN.

What if they massacre us?! Our families are terrified. Who’s to save us?!

How many times should a Palestinian be assaulted, have his bones broken? How many times must we be arrested? Displaced? till the world gives attention to us!

Police violence against Palestinians in Sheikh Jarrah who only want to remain in the homes they’ve lived in for generations is state-sponsored persecution. NO U.S. taxpayer dollars should support the annexation of Palestinian land or destruction of Palestinian homes.
