This is a reminder that the SORT campaign will be commemorating two years since the night fellings of 7 healthy street trees on Rustlings Road. It will be THIS Saturday, 17th November 2018.
Confirmed speakers are:
Dr Deepa Shetty, Co-founder of the SORT campaign (Save Our Roadside Trees)
Louise Wilcockson, Co-founder of the SORT campaign
Dave Dillner, Founder of STAG (Sheffield Tree Action Groups)
Cllr Alison Teal (The Green Party)
Natalie Bennett (The Green Party)
Cllr Shaffaq Mohammed (Liberal Democrats)
We will be meeting at Ellen the Tree, outside No. 203 Rustlings Rd at 4.15pm. After speeches, there will be a candlight/torch walk to Endcliffe Park in silence, to where Delilah the Tree once stood.
