These unnecessary parking restrictions will be devastating to local trade and a huge inconvenience to shoppers at an already challenging time. Parking is already a problem in the area and these bays are in constant demand. There aren't even spaces for disabled drivers (even though the Council stated there would be). There was no consultation before these measures were introduced in the name of social distancing, fully 5 months after the start of the pandemic.
