Justice For Marley!!

Justice For Marley!!
The Issue
I breed Presa Canario's, and about six months ago i sold a puppy to a nice young couple that live in Techumseh Kansas. They spoiled my dog, made her a member of their family, and along with their young son and their other dog Rufus, they loved her dearly. Yesterday, Dustin (Marley's owner) came home and let Marley and Rufus out to use the restroom which is what they always do. After he let the dogs out, he left to run some errands. He was gone for 45 minutes. While he was gone, the dogs apparently went across the street, which is common, and were running up and down outside of the neighbors chicken coop. While this was going on, the neighbor called animal control to have the dogs picked up. He was told animal control was on their way to his home to get the dogs. After hanging up, he went outside, and shot my dog with a shot gun, approximately fifty feet away from her. In what im assuming was immense fear and confusion, she made an effort to get up, and im guessing, run home to escape. When she did this, he shot her two more times at close range with the shot gun. She had already been shot once, and was probably mortally wounded, and was no longer a threat to him, his family or his property, so why was it necessary to shoot her two more times? After he had killed her, animal control arrived, however it was to late, he had already killed my dog. Criminally, nothing can be done, as the dogs were on his land. However, no chickens were harmed or killed, the chicken coop was not damaged, and instead of waiting ten minutes inside for animal control to arrive, he made the decision that he was going to take her life, even though he was not in danger, his family was safely inside, and his chickens were alive and well. In the area that this couple live in, dogs running freely is common, as there is no leash oridinances out of city limits. All the neighborhood dogs play with one another, visit eachother's houses, go inside eachothers houses, and Marley and Rufus made a habit of hanging out with one neighbor while he worked in his shop. This is how it has always been, the neighbor that shot her to death new that, he knew the dogs, and he also knew where they lived. Why he decided to kill her yesterday in cold blood is beyond me and i am broken hearted about this. Marley was loved by her neighbors, and loved by staff and residents at a local retirement home where she went to work with her owner Jackie on a regular basis. Seeing Marley, getting to pet her, talk to her, and interact with her, made these elderly peoples day, and this man took that from them. Her owners were even planning on havnig her certified in the future to become a therapy dog so she could visit other retirement homes and give them the same joy she gave the people where her owner worked. She was a favorite of an elderly man in hospice, who loved seeing her everyday, and she was so gentle, that she was able to be walked by one of the residents outside while Jackie worked. I want this man that killed her to know what hes done. I want him to know what she meant to so many people, and i want him to know what he took from them. He took a way a friend and a source of happiness for so many people who didnt always have alot to look forward to everyday. So many people loved Marley, and I want to know why he choose to end her life, and why he chose to make her last minutes on this earth be pure terror. She was a member of so many peoples families...and she deserved better. I will be speaking to a lawyer on monday to see if anything can be done in civil court, and all im wanting is justice for Marley. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and lets get her the justice she deserves!!
