The good news is that our petition has over 1,260 signatures. We should reach 1500 very soon. And yes, although my name is first, it is our petition because everyone's signature is of equal importance. The not so good news is, as of yet the Boulders gave no indication of stopping the explosive fireworks which stresses out those poor animals at HiTor. Frankly I don't understand why. There are viable alternatives such as noiseless fireworks, laser shows, drones shows etc. The costs are not that much different. Only two groups should matter: We the people who sign this petition and those poor animals we are trying to help. It seems neither of these groups matter to the people who make the decisions. It seems politics are involved. And we all know the meaning of politics. Poly means many and ticks are blood suckers. It is unfortunate these animals have to suffer from more than one type of tick. However what we the people want should make a difference. Please keep passing this petition around to your friends, social media and whoever else you could think of. The more signatures we can get, the less likely they can ignore us. I can't wait till we could all rejoice (especially the animals) with good news.
