We are now approaching 1000 signatures. I want to thank every person who signed. When the Boulders had their fireworks show July 4th, there was a volunteer at HiTor who saw first hand how the animals were affected. The fireworks exploded directly overhead, terrifying many animals. Three dogs, including Buddy had to be medicated. Buddy is a black Labrador, who in a panic, kept jumping up and hitting himself against the metal cage. Many cats were also very stressed. Today, I received in the mail, ValPak an envelope with local coupons and advertisements. In it was an ad from the NY Boulders, on the front they proudly proclaim "Fireworks every Saturday night" Let us put a stop to this , those poor shelter animals are stressed enough.
EVERY SIGNATURE COUNTS! If you didn't sign this, please sign it now. Please forward this petition to your friends and family as well as any dog or cat rescue groups, Facebook groups, other social media, veterinarians etc. etc. The more signatures we get, the stronger a message we will give to the Boulders to stop their fireworks. I cannot wait to be able to send everyone a message that the Boulders will change their shows using noiseless fireworks, lasers or something else. I know, that should give us all a great feeling to know our signature stopped the fireworks and helped animals like Buddy. Thanks again
