Shawn Mendes: Give Seattle A 2019/20 Show Date at The T-Mobile Park

The Issue

Problem: When the Canadian Singer-Songwriter announces a worldwide arena tour in support of his self-titled/third album, we've found out that he is scheduling to bypass Seattle. We cannot afford to travel to either Portland OR or Vancouver, BC because going to one of these cities are costly in both time and money. More importantly, it wouldn't be fair that Seattle would be the only city to miss the golden opportunity of seeing him perform when touring to promote the self-titled album by default.

Solution: There are three optional ways to get Shawn Mendes to perform in Seattle during the Self-Titled promotion.

  1. Proper Date for This Year: The only way to have the Seattle date for 2019 tour is to have his performance booked at our baseball stadium of the T-Mobile Park (formerly Safeco Field) between the approximate weekend of September 20th thorugh 22nd as an infield configuration.
  2. Post-Game Concert: We could accommodate Shawn as a post-game concert that schedules to perform several minutes after a baseball game ends.
  3. Proper Date for Next Year (If Needed): If the tour, the continues into the 2020 season, that could be the time to perform in baseball stadiums.

Worst-Case Scenario: If he doesn't schedule these possible options before ending the tour, we will have to wait for another album to come before another chance to see him perform in the next two to three years from now on.

Benefit To Who? The new Seattle concert date will, of course, benefit us as music fans who want to see Shawn Mendes perform in our city when promoting his self-titled album.

Friendly Update: Please sign and share the petition to have Shawn Mendes give Seattle the show date and include the hashtag #ShawnMendesStadium #ShawnMendesInSeattle on your social media posts. Thank you.
