We insist our children be allowed to participate in team sports without mandatory PCR testing. Instead, testing should be offered (as per the CDC) on a voluntary basis. It is unethical and illegal to test someone who does not want to be tested, including students whose parents or guardians do not want them to be tested. We are asking Shasta Union High School District to remove the “mandatory” guideline now and allow the children and parents to choose.
