Due to the current circumstances, the student body believes that educational institutions should be closed as not only are corona virus cases on the rise, but smog season is back. The lives of students are at risk due to carelessness regarding SOPs, and many are falling ill already. This is surely going to hinder classroom based education, but we feel due to the extraordinary conditions, online lessons should continue and rather be encouraged. Furthermore, the public should look at the statistics and read studies which prove that smog further increases corona virus transmission risk.

The duration of the closure depends on the situation of the pandemic and the environmental air quality index. (AQI)
