Industrial Wind Turbines are noisy, which interrupts sleep.  They produce infrasound, which makes some people sick.  Turbines catch on fire, they fall over without any warning, and the blades can break.  Turbines create shadow flicker during certain times on sunny days.  Turbines also lower property values.  People who live next to a turbine can't sell their land.

We are asking Shade Twp. supervisors to increase property line setbacks to 10 times the turbine height, limit infrasound to 45 dBC at the property line, and prohibit shadow flicker on neighboring property.  Shade Township residents deserve the right to enjoy their home and property.  These restrictions will help to protect the health, safety, and welfare of township residents.
