Improve the SFASU cafeteria’s food quality and availability.

Improve the SFASU cafeteria’s food quality and availability.
The Issue
The SFASU food quality and availability have been severely reduced after the change to a different food provider in both the 1923 and Eatery on the East cafeterias. This has made it unappealing to eat on campus in both dining halls.
Here is a list of the things that need we believe need improvement:
Late night dinner for Eatery on the East in the diner should be offered again.
Grab and Go options.
There’s a panini press in the Eatery on the East, but where’s the stuff to make sandwiches?
All-day omelets should be available.
Ice cream should be offered again.
Provide a variety of quality protein options/beef products: not just burgers and chicken every day.
Motion sensor dispensers aren’t optimal. There was no reason to change it: the manual one was easier to use. This makes it impossible to get the exact amount someone wanted. Bringing back the previous dispensers would solve this.
If we are going to be mindful of Covid-19 in ways like motion sensors, then we should be mindful of it in other ways. Having individualized silverware was great for sanitary reasons and should’ve been implemented before Covid-19 affected our community.
Improving SFASU food quality and availability shouldn’t be too much to ask for. Every student and faculty member needs a good meal; moreover, the times that people eat their meals aren’t the same.
