Hello. I am a resident of Newington. I have noticed that hundreds of reports of sexual harassment, racism, homophobia, and more have gone under-noticed, or pushed under the rug. People have gotten away harassing individuals and the school administration has not done anything. Even some teachers have harassed the students themselves. If this continues, it will never end. 

People cannot speak out about this if the staff aren't doing anything. This needs to stop. People I know have been harassed in the hallways, classrooms, and more. We need to start calling people out, and give voice to hundreds of students being affected because of this, mentally and physically. 

Even back in 2020, a student had come out and talked about getting sexually assaulted by a teacher inside of the school. Even with this, they have still not enforced stricter rules, and this is still getting ignored daily. 

This is a school, where you should go to learn and be educated, not fear for yourself in the hallways. You should be able to grow and succeed, not be ignored and denied. This needs to stop now. We as a community, need to start speaking up. If no one stops this, it will never stop.
