Americans killed native Americans, stole their land and built a high school on top of it. They named the high school after a tribe and made the school mascot a Native American. Not only that but they call that school mascot an Indian and call it an “honor”. That high school is Sewanhaka. We must change the school name and mascot to a more appropriate and less offensive name. How would you feel if a schools mascot was appropriating your culture.
