On July 8, 2020 around 10:30am my 3yr old identical twin daughters were less than a mile from the petting zoo they were visiting in Sevierville, TN with their grandparents when an impaired driver with a BAC of .128 that was speeding rear-ended another vehicle causing it to cross the center-line and collide head-on with the car where the twins were riding. Emma survived and Ella fought 5 days before she passed on July 13th 2020. We want the courts, attorney general, and state representatives to hear our story, we want to changes to be made for drunk/drugged driving, and we want individuals to be held accountable for their actions. By choosing to operate a vehicle with alcohol/drugs in your system, you are responsible for whatever happens. This is a preventable crime. We want justice and the maximum penalty for this selfish individual that was responsible for taking the life of my sweet Ella Mae.
