In view of the recent increase in cruelty against Stray Dogs incidents, I plead the Central Government to lay down strict guidelines on code of conduct of the citizens emphasizing on coexistence with animals and be their care giver.

In consideration of the rise in cases of illegal relocation, poisoning, physical and mental abuse cases, I plead the government to impose:

1. Strict punishment/ imprisonment for the violators of Prevention of Cruelty Against Animals Act.
2. The imposed penalty of INR 50 to be increased to a decent amount that is heavy on pocket.
3. In cases of Animal Cruelty bail should be granted not before 1 week.

I urge the government to deliberate on these recommendations and take necessary actions as such offenders are not only a threat to animals but also to the society.
