The subscribers attached to this petition plead with the leadership of the SDA  Australian Union Conference to consider the damage they are doing by being pro-vaccination. There are many in the health professions inside and outside church institutions who have many genuine reasons for refusing to be vaccinated. 

We feel the our leadership has not taken seriously the similarities between the Mark of the Beast characteristics of Revelation 13, and the current Australian government infrastructure with it laws to coerce and blackmail people into vaccination. We feel the Adventist leadership in Australia needs to be more neutral and come down on the side of conscientious objectors as much as those who decide for vaccination. At present all media from our leadership has been pro-vaccination. 

We are very worried about the 1000's of Adventists in Australia who object to covid vaccination and are at breaking point. Many feel they have no choice but to get vaccinated or lose their jobs. The threat of becoming unemployed is forcing many to violate their conscience and be vaccinated when they dont want to be. There are also those who have obeyed their conscience and stepped down from employment and are now worried how they will survive and support their families.

We understand the Adventist church cannot force the governments hand but they can respect our members Australia wide who are conscientious objectors by being neutral and supporting those who's rights are being trampled on. We implore the church Religious Liberty Department, which has been strangely silent, to make a stand now for those who feel they are being violated.
