Currently we have 1000’s of unneutered cats all over the streets of Malta, many of them in colonies and fed and cared for daily.

Their food intake and care is not a concern.

We have NO PLACE where to recover these cats after neutering. Animal Welfare Malta do not provide us with any dedicated area where these cats can safely stay in recovery cages for a couple of days until they can be released back into their colony.

This is a plea, a desperate plea to those who run the AW department to provide us with this area. This government has funds to construct the most useless things, so it definitely can spare the money to set up this area and employ a few workers to run it.

If this is set up, the amount of unnecessary suffering, kittens being run over, mothers dying and kittens dying as a result..the list never ends…can become significantly less.

I am willing to help with logistics to get this up and running and continue along with it, with pleasure.

So please consider this request from all of us who care for these little cats and kittens every day of our lives.
