In a lot of counties, there is an ordinance in place that states outside pets must be brought inside in weather under 20 degrees. Today, I called Perry County Dispatch about an animal that was outside in a cage in below freezing temperatures, when it was brought to my attention that Perry County does not have an ordinance in place regarding animals and freezing temperatures. We would like to see an ordinance be put in place for this!
