I just want to point out to you, that, I just reopened my petition right after it just automatically closed on me. I just recently received an E-Mail from Change.org saying:

A few days ago your petition — Sesame Street: Kevin Clash, please come back to "Sesame Street" as the puppeteer and voice of "Elmo". — was automatically closed because it had been open for 605 days. Is your campaign still going? Don't worry — you can easily reopen your petition.

And then, I went to my Change.org account to see if it really did automatically close on me, and then, yes, I saw that it really did. But, however, nothing to worry about, because, on my E-Mail, I just clicked on the link where it said, reopen your petition, and then, guess what, yes, my petition really did reopen, for when I received an automatic message saying, Your petition has been reopened.
