With upcoming FDA changes requiring that sesame be labeled as a major allergen, Pan-O-Gold company, a major supplier of both retail and school lunch products in the upper midwest, is planning to add sesame flour to every one of their items. The new legislation requires that products that don't contain sesame undergo increased cleaning to remove allergens. To avoid adapting the updated cleaning, Pan-O-Gold is choosing to simply add a trace amount of sesame to every single product they sell rather than eliminating sesame from the few products that contain them. 

This includes brands such as Village Hearth, Country Hearth, Lakeland, New England, Frescado's, Papa Pita, Papa's Organic, Maya's Tortillas, and Bubba's Bagels. Please help keep the food allergy community safe by signing this petition.
