A total of 4 dogs have been killed (that we know of) in the same area and property in City of Douglas located in Coffee County Georgia! Dogs Finn and Willow were shot in the heart and left to die on December 19, 2021. A little over a year before this happened two huskies, Zoey and King, were also gundown and killed in the same manner but were thrown in a ditch by that same property. One of them wasn't dead yet. That poor dog suffered all night but was rushed to the vet only to die in surgery later that day. All of these poor innocent voiceless dogs are crying out but nobody can hear them.

Let's start from the beginning from one of the dog owners, on Dec 19, Finn and Willow were being taken for a walk on the golf course. One moment of inattention and our beloved pets were gone. The whole family went into a panic and started searching. After a Facebook post, I got a message they had been in a woman's yard shortly before. The young woman described the dogs and the collars, confirming it was them. My husband told us he had heard gunshots, but we didn't connect those to our dogs.We drove down the road on the property they were seen, calling for them, until dark. The next day, we asked the property owners to allow us to search for them. They were reluctant but told us to be quick. My son was immediately ordered off the property by a VERY hostile man. The next day, we were back in the area of the property where they were seen Sunday. Suspicions grew about the gunshots. Dec 22, Sierra downloaded aerial maps and planned her search. She discovered a deer trail leading from the back of the golf course directly to there. Sierra and her boyfriend asked for permission to search again. They found a trail that had been bush-hogged directly to the swamp. Near the end of it was Finn's Christmas collar. They slogged far out into the swamp. I was heading their way, when I received the call that Finn had been found. He had been shot twice and thrown into the swamp like a piece of trash. I was hysterical. The property owners were visibly shocked to see Finn being carried out. Attempts by Sierra's boyfriend to find out who had done this horrible thing were brushed off. That night, the property owners forbade us to return. They would not allow us to find Willow, nor retrieve her body themselves. We spent the next day in a state of shock, knowing Finn was gone but unsure if Willow was suffering. On Christmas Eve, we searched the golf club woods, ending up at a golf club property directly across the swamp from where Finn was found, with permission. We went into the swamp and searched for hours before realizing we were possibly close to where Finn was found. Sierra found Willow, also shot and dumped far back in the swamp. It was a monumental struggle to get Willow out of there. We know that no dog-killing trespasser killed our dogs elsewhere, happened to decide to take them to the very property where they had earlier been seen (the ONLY place they were ever seen) (and the place a picture of Finn was caught on a trail camera), crossed that large property carrying our two dead dogs, to throw them deep in the swamp. That defies all logic. But that is what the property owners are adamantly claiming had to have happened.
We want justice for Willow and Finn. We want justice for the two huskies, Zoey and King, that were shot and thrown in a ditch beside that same property. One of them wasn't dead yet. That dog suffered all night, was rushed to the vet in the morning, only to die in surgery.
