As we all know, COVID-19 is now a pandemic. Hundred of thousands of lives are now at stake. Here in the Bay Area, a lot of our offices and jobs have been shut down to prevent the virus from spreading. Our schools are slowly starting to do the same. With the Archdiocese of San Fransisco shutting down all of its schools in the district to prevent COVID-19 from spreading, as well as countless other private schools, we stand for the same rights as they do. 

Even though COVID-19 doesn't affect a typical teenager, they are still susceptible to it. The students can still carry the virus and spread it to loved ones who are severely harmed by COVID-19. 

Colleges, universities, and private schools are already taking action. Why shouldn't we? We have the right to our health, and by taking no action against COVID-19, you are putting our students and their families in danger; you are violating our human right to health. 

We ask that you take this pandemic seriously, as many lives are at stake. Please take in consideration the lives of the students, and their loved ones. We need to act on COVID-19 quick, as parents, students, and a community.
