Like many girls I do like to shop at Sephora for my makeup, but there's a huge problem. I've asked about a packaging recycling program and apparently there is none, I now want that to change.
According to statistics there are over 100 million women over the age of 20 living in the US alone, and according to another survey contain an average of 12 beauty products in their vanities alone, which can really add up.The EPA has even stated that over a third of the landfill is caused by cosmetic packaging, there are even some girls out there that really wish you did a recylcing program. It's very strange that one of the most sucessful cosmetic retailers that have donated to environmental causes doesn't have a recyling program for packaging. Many other brands do this already and even offer free stuff when you bring in a certain amount of used packaging. So sephora, its time that you take a stand and make the earth as beautiful as the people who use the products you sell.
