Separate servers for Russia and Belarus in Counter Strike 2

Separate servers for Russia and Belarus in Counter Strike 2
The Issue
Dear Valve and Counter Strike 2 Development Team,
We are writing to you as Counter-Strike 2 players from Europe, who are deeply dissatisfied with the current situation in the game, which is dominated by players from Russia and Belarus. We have nothing against these nationalities, but we believe that their behavior in the game is unacceptable and ruins our fun. These players often communicate exclusively in Russian, making it difficult for non-Russian speaking players to understand and coordinate with them during matches. Furthermore, there have been numerous instances of toxic behavior that go against the spirit of fair play and camaraderie that Counter Strike 2 is known for.
We are not alone in our concerns. There are countless posts on Reddit and other online platforms where players from Europe and other regions have expressed similar frustrations about playing with Russian and Belarusian players. According to many posts on Reddit , players from Russia and Belarus often:
- have very high pings, which affect the quality of the gameplay
- do not speak English or any other common language, which makes communication and cooperation difficult - In most of cases speaking and texting on chat in russian language (большинство европейцев не понимают, что пишут)
- are toxic, insult other players, sabotage the game or leave it before the end
- use cheats or other unfair methods to gain an advantage over the opponents
- Proud of being part of the agressive country that is killing thousands of people in Ukraine
These problems make the game frustrating and unpleasant for many European players, who want to enjoy the competition and fair play. Therefore, we urge Valve Corporation to create separate servers for players from Russia and Belarus, so that they are not matched with players from other regions.
We understand that Counter Strike 2 is a global game enjoyed by people from all around the world, and we appreciate your efforts in maintaining a positive and inclusive gaming environment. We believe that implementing this change will contribute to these efforts and enhance the overall experience for all players.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. We look forward to your positive response.
Sincerely,
Counter-Strike 2 players from Europe
