Great progress! We are building a grass roots coalition so our collective voice will be heard. Our elected officials will help us if they hear our voice. We need your donations to form the E-MTB Association to fight for your right to ride. If just 1/2 of our supporters each donated $25. we would be 1/3 of the way towards our goal. Are there park bike trails and paths that you want to ride your E-bike on but you are banned from doing so? Are you outraged by The Department of Parks and Recreation, Angeles District e-bike ban effecting mostly senior citizens which could be coming to your park soon? We are your voice and are engaging the local land manager and public officials demanding that they be inclusive not exclusive but we need your continued support to keep up the pressure on them. I can assure you that Angeles District Superintendent Sap has not been happy having to take calls from Senators and other elected officials. He knows he is in a bit of trouble especial as the number of our supports grow. Frankly he can get us off his back if he would just rescind that 9-13-17 Superintendent order 915-17-002 he signed banning E-bikes from Angeles District Park bike trails and paths. But beyond that we hope to inspire new Statewide park rules that will allow pedal assist e-bikes on State Bike trails and paths because it is not clear. Please click the "view fundraiser" button and donate what you can. $10., $20., $35. or $50 or more will help us to form E-MTB Association. E-MTB Association will fight for your right to ride your e-bike on park bike trails and paths. We are off to a great start and already raised $690. in the first 24 hours but it will take a lot more than that to form the organization and build free membership. Please keep the momentum going even if you can only donate a little as it all adds up. We are in contact with our public officials asking them to change the park bike trail and path rules to allow class 1 and 2 pedal assist e-bikes and be more inclusive, including Senators, Assembly Members and Land Managers. We can do this, change can happen and we are making progress. Please support us and donate whatever you can today so your voice will continue to be heard.
Thank you for your help and support.
