As seniors, we deserve a graduation. We have already had our senior prom, senior class trip, and many other memories taken away from us. This was suppose to be our year. We were promised a year of happiness, a year of unforgettable bonds, and a year of unforgettable memories. We were told that our senior year was suppose to be our year. So please sign this petition to show the Belvidere school system, and Board of Education that the class of 2020 deserves to walk across the stage with our peers, while loved ones and neighbors that have watched us grow, cheer our names as we march across the stage for our diploma. We worked 12-13 years for this moment, sign the petition to support having our graduation postponed to a later date-whether that be August or even mid September. We are willing to wait, are you? Our last memory of senior year should NOT be of all of us joining a zoom call congratulating each other, while waiting patiently for our diploma on the mail.
