Effects of Plenty of School Works in Senior Highschool Students

Effects of Plenty of School Works in Senior Highschool Students
The Issue
How can they learn if they are tired and stressed? Sleepless nights because of schoolworks, are they still learning? Or just doing it for their grades and pass the subjects?
Students, especially in senior high schools, experienced stress and even lead to depression. The reason of this is because of piled-up schoolworks. For example, students needs to work at least 3 reflection papers that are already required to be past on the next day. They need to shoot 2 videos, work on their website, blogs, travel magazine, portfolios, performance task etc on a whole semester.
Although it can be helpful to improve their learning, lack of sleep every night can affect their school performance because they tend to have low energy and become sleepy during school hours. It impairs attention, alertness, concentration, reasoning, and problem solving. And with these, they can't listen and understand well the lessons during discussions, making it more difficult to learn efficiently.
