Petition to Bring Former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte Home: A Leader, Not a Criminal

We, the Filipino People, firmly stand by Former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and declare that he is not a criminal but a leader who dedicated his life to serving and protecting the Filipino people. His unwavering commitment to the war against drugs brought relief, safety, and security to our nation, making communities safer and giving countless Filipinos the chance to live without fear of crime and violence.

The actions taken under his administration were aimed at eradicating illegal drugs, upholding the law, and securing the welfare of our people. These efforts should not be misconstrued as crimes but rather recognized as decisive measures to safeguard our nation from the devastating effects of illegal substances and criminality.

We plead to the ICC that Former President Duterte be allowed to return home to the Philippines—to the land he has faithfully served and to the people who continue to stand by him.
