Terri Lynn Brewer is living a brave life, and contributing to those around her on a daily basis. She depends on Medicare and Medicaid, without cuts, to make her life work. In order to pay for her medications and eliminate out of pocket expenses, however, she now pays $680, out of her Social Security income of $1666, for her health insurance.

Terri Lynn will not be able to manage if her health care costs go up.

Privatization of health care will not slow the costs, it will only shift costs to those least able to pay, while reducing services. 

Health care must not be treated as a market based commodity. Health care is a right.

Republicans such as Sen. Deb Fischer and Sen. Ben Sasse will be voting soon on changes in the Affordable  Care Act and they need to know that Nebraskans expect them to preserve all that is working in the Affordable Care Act, serving the people, not big pharma, and not the insurance industry.
