The US government is teying ro make changes to the Lacey Act includes in the America Competes Act 2022. A few changes include any non-native species will be deemed injurious immediately and any animal on that list will not be able to cross state lines. In addition, the Secretary of the Interior is given unlimited power to deem any species injurious, without warning and without congressional input.

This will greatly affect the exotic pet industry to include pet owners, zoos, rescues, breeding programs, conservation programs, veterinary care and businesses.  

This CANNOT get passed!!!! We need to come together, take a stand and fight for our 'babies' and the right to own them.
