Recent investigation has determined that Korean Airlines Flt. 007 downed by the Soviets in 1983 with 269 occupants, including 22 children under 12 years of age was not destroyed but water landed in Soviet territory and that the passengers and crew were captured and brought to Soviet detention facilities and work camps. In addition, government needs to investigate the cause of the outage at the Air Force satellite facility at Offutt Air Base in Nebraska that occurred just at the time a warning was to be sent through there  to the NSA which would have prevented KAL 007 from entering into harms way. Passengers may still be alive needing to be freed and future wanton acts of this kind need to be prevented.  .
