There are hundreds of Pit bulls that were forceably taken from families, and put into shelters, and then killed. Just because they are pit bulls. I am sickened by these actions. I owned many pit bulls when I was a child, they were so sweetest, kindest, most protective over me. I used to own a beautiful red nose pit, and a blue nose, and they never were aggresive. I believe that the sterotype on pit bulls are over exaggerated, and the media portrayes them to be these evil breed that shouldn't be allowed to have a family with humans. How is it that Labs, Chows, ect. can bite, attack and kill people, children, animals and not be banned or put down. But when a pit bull is raised that way, or is protecting their owner and bites an attacker to protect their owner, they are killed. They are taken from their familes and murdered, just because they were born Pit Bulls. In Miami Dade Animal shelters , they hold pit bulls in the back and they are illegal to adopt , then they are murdered. I love pit bulls they are wonderful service dogs , and great with children, and other animals. Why put punish them for being born that way. I want to make it legal for pit bulls to be able to be adopted, and to be allowed to stay with their familes. Pit bulls need love too, they deserve a chance to live their lives, not to be held in a jail for dogs, and then killed. Sign this, help us save these pitbulls , help these dogs have a family.
