This time of year we focus on the children in our lives. Ensuring they have innocent childhoods and bright futures is extra important. A few moments of your time can go a long way in preserving children’s innocence and bright futures. Right now, most of the people who sexually abuse children can simply “wait out the clock” and avoid prosecution because of the statutes of limitation on child sexual abuse. We can’t protect children if most of their abusers are above the law. We can change that, but only if we make our voices heard.
