This August 7th, Michigan lost it’s BEST state senator in an election that sent shockwaves. An unknown candidate with no media presence, Bettie Jean Alexander, unexpectedly beat Senator Knezek in the Democratic primary. Alexander’s stance on policy is unknown. Senator Knezek has remained a steadfast progressive and fighter for his constituents as a state representative and as a state senator. We simply cannot lose one of the best leaders in Lansing, that is why we are asking Senator Knezek to run on the November ballot as an independent candidate for re-election.
