PUT JASON CARAHER IN JAIL. My step-dad groomed and molested me. I realized what he was doing wasn’t okay when I was 11. He was always very physically abusive, choking me, punching me, slamming me by my hair on my bed railing or into walls. I have faint scars on my face from years ago. It only got worse when at 11 years old, I was clear that I wanted nothing to do with his repulsive sexuality. I always wanted to fight back but in my young head, I didn’t want to ruin my mother’s marriage. I have two brothers and one sister who are so young, that even 8 years later don’t fully understand what is STILL happening to them every time they go over to his house. My  brothers trauma from this on going event is so deep that he’s afraid to eat the cereal my mom gives him for breakfast repeatedly asking “am I allowed to eat this mommy?” about 5 times before he eats a tiny amount. He even asks her if he is allowed to go to the bathroom multiple times before he actually goes and is terrified to shower. My 10 year old sister constantly says she’d rather die than go back to his house, saying that she will kill herself. I can only imagine what my youngest brother would say if he could talk yet. All of them come home from their dads with bruises on their back, and show signs of inappropriate sexual activity as always.  When he was first arrested for domestic violence, and they got a divorce when I was 16, I came forward and told my mom what he had been doing to me. We told the police, and the state recorded my story but did nothing about it. They believed me, but I had no proof. Court for divorce and custody of the kids is still an on-going battle and somehow he is allowed half custody. Every lawyer my mom has gives up on the situation or is possibly bribed from the other side. The woman we’d been assigned that decides who keeps the kids has reviews that she takes bribes. Its hard after so many unexplained losses for my mom to keep her cool in court which makes her seem like a villain. It’s a long battle we shouldn’t be losing but somehow we are in the state of Louisiana.  Two of the other kids have bravely come forward to doctors, therapists and other figures about the sexual and emotional abuse Jason has inflicted on them, and there have been NO REPERCUSSIONS. He has gotten no consequences despite the photos of what he’s done to the kids, and their stories of sexual abuse. He refuses to pay child support the court has ordered. Jason tells the court that the kids are lying, and they’re going with that. He doesn’t get to tear my family apart and come out on top through lying and cheating. My sister is starting to hear VOICES in her head that tell her “Help me I don’t want to be here”. You don’t need to donate. I just want someone to please give a damn, spread the word, MAKE LOUISIANA CARE. MAKE LOUISIANA CARE AND PUT JASON CARAHER IN JAIL. If you do donate it will go to lawyers Jason can’t bribe away, therapy for the kids, and towards spreading the word. I don’t know what else to do legally. Any help is appreciated. I live in California, and my family lives in Louisiana due to state order that my mom return to Louisiana.
