NARCOPOLITICS - The use of narcotics money in funding politicians during campaigns and elections. In return, when these people win, they will use their power to protect  those who funded them. A perfect example of which is Leila De Lima who secured a Senate seat out of drug money.

De Lima, a protector of the illegal drug trade, an “immoral woman”, whose driver who happened to be (also) her “lover,” collected drug payoffs for her.

During her tenure as a Justice Secretary, there was a proliferation of illegal drugs at the New Bilibid Prison. Images of De Lima and drug lord Herbert Colangco surfaced on social media singing together inside the Bilibid during the latter's birthday party celebration.

Following the examples of Dutch Justice Minister Ivo Opstelten and his state secretary, Fred Teeven, who have resigned after misleading parliament over a 2001 compensation payment to a convicted drug trafficker; resigned Guatemala Vice President Baldetti who was linked to La Linea (drug & corruption case); ex-Presidents Carlos Salinas de Gortari of Mexico and Ernesto Samper of Colombia also resigned due to their involvement in drug trade. De Lima should also be urged to resign and leave the Senate.

De Lima, unworthy Senator, should resign out of delicadeza for the benefit of our future generation.
