Wow (Wide open West) is exploiting its sweetheart deals with the city of Lawrence Kansas to create a Monopolistic control over all phone calls and has been abusing its power to discriminate in an unjust and unfair manner against the small country of Kosovo.

The FCC, the ITU, the Kansas, The kansas corporation commission, the attorney general of Kansas and the city of Lawrence have all let this happen and refused to take action against this malpractice.

We have personally felt the problems cause by this when we were unable to be called and informed about the death of my wifes grandfather and therefore missed his funeral.

We are still customers of WOW even though we dont want to be because the city of Lawrence has allowed WOW! to have a monopoly of the part of the city we live inn, there is no other internet provider giving us service there.

We need telephone access to Kosovo to talk to the friends and family because they dont have internet or the money for VOIP service.

America's telephone companies need to be regulated to enforce the ITU recommendations. The FCC is unwilling to do this, so we call onto the Subcommittee on Communications, Technology, and the Internet to force them to do so.
