Improve access to diabetic foot care by permitting nurse practitioners and physician's assistants to satisfy the Medicare documentation requirement  for coverage of certain types of diabetic footwear for individuals with diabetes. Ths bill will not only reduce the incidence of amputation but will also improve the quality of life for people living with diabetes.
