We are the only subdivision in the Heathrow Community where our elementary age children have to cross a busy street (Heathrow Boulevard) to access a bus stop without a stop sign to help us cross.  We have a cross walk but drivers are not yielding to pedestrians and standard pedestrian road signs are not present.  In addition, there are many obstacles (hill, large trees and shrubs) that prohibit drivers from seeing pedestrians and with enough time to come to a stop.  

There are two buses which pass our entrance for the elementary school and we are proposing that one of those buses add a stop at our entrance for 11 - 20 children.
